My creations are those of a writer who also sees words in color and shape. They range from visual interpretations of others’ stories and dreams to inner explorations of women navigating the realities of middle-age: death, aging, grief, sickness, expectations, stereotypes, stigmas, and joy. Animals make frequent appearances, as guides, family, and symbols, whether the expression is figurative or abstract. No matter the expression or medium, my work invites viewers to draw from their personal experience to craft their own narratives.
